You won’t believe it! How about pushing your own limits, going where only the most seasoned explorers have ventured, and visiting iconic places tinged with unexpected stories?
This adventure is brought to you by your ED Trip agency. Find out more with this article. Enjoy your flight CMDR!
This adventure is not accessible to everyone, it requires time, patience, perseverance and significant resources.
It will require a vessel with huge jump range (Anaconda or Diamond Back Explorer engineered and with Guardians items for example) and/or the use of a Fleet Carrier.
But it's well worth the effort, because we're going to take you on a tour of some unique places and tell you all about their history.
Will you have the courage to take up the challenge?

Hutton Orbital, the mug and the Anaconda
Beware, our destination is not accessible to large PAD ships, so a bit of cargo space is recommended
This step isn't the most complicated, but will require a good dose of patience on your part. Go to the Alpha Centauri system. Once you've arrived in the system, point out the HUTTON ORBITAL station and you should soon realize that you're not there yet! The station is located at 6,784,404 SL (or 0.21 AL!) and it will take you over an hour and a half, in supercruise, to reach your destination! As soon as you get there, you can pick up the contents of the "For the Mug" beacon and land on the outpost.
Quizz 1:
Now type into the local chat box how far away from the star, in light-years, Hutton Orbital is.
Did you know that a faction is based on this outpost? It's the HUTTON ORBITAL TRUCKERS who organized, in the summer of 3301, a community objective requiring the mobilization of valiant pilots to deliver on this scrap outpost.
Indeed, after a public consultation on the creation of a rare commodity, the pilot community voted in favor of a mug to be manufactured on Hutton Orbital by the BlipMagnet company. Once the project was elected, it took the pilots many, many trips back and forth, their cargo holds loaded with scrap metal (leftover FSD reactors), before production of this very rare product was launched.
It was a success, and to this day, Hutton Orbital sells a mug that is unique in its market and bears the words "I made it to Hutton Orbital".
Don't hesitate to buy one - you've earned it after such a long journey! You can also, if you feel like it, buy a few units of Centauri Mega Gin. Be careful, it's a legal drug that's not authorized in all systems!
But the Hutton Orbital story doesn't end there. Because of the Outpost's unique position, a joke is regularly played out between pilots. Veteran pilots make young, often hapless, pilots believe that it's possible to pick up a free anaconda on Hutton.
For anyone familiar with the station, this is impossible, as wide ships can't land there. So it's only when they get there that the newcomers realize their mistake... They do, however, have a unique mug to console themselves with!
Once the step is completed, proceed to the next step
Mitterand Hollow, attrape-moi si tu peux
Now let's head for the Epsilon Indi system (not far from Hutton Orbital, in case you want to buy yourself a mug) to find a curious feature: Mitterand Hollow, which orbits New Africa. The aim of the game is simple: try to land there.... If you can;
If you try to " run " after the planet, you'll never succeed. The only solution is to position yourself in its orbit and wait for it to come hurtling towards you. Then you might have a chance of landing without too much damage!
Once you've accomplished this feat, take the time to go out in SRV and contemplate a phenomenon unique in the galaxy: in just a few dozen seconds, you'll be able to watch a moon rise and set. Don't get nauseous!
Once the step is completed, proceed to the next step
Rackham's Peak, the summit of the Galaxy
At the top of our galaxy lies a very special system: HIP 58832. Since December 3306, an outpost has been built there, enabling scientific research to be carried out on the Milky Way. Rackham's Peak was built under the impetus of Universal Cartographics and Rackham Capital Investments, a company founded and run by billionaire Zachary Rackham. Rackham had already made a name for himself by investing in various projects, notably shipyards in Colonia (3304), but also as part of a galactic initiative in 3305 (The Scourge) or when he announced his candidacy for the Presidency of the Federation in May 3308 (read the news).
To get to Rackham's Peak, you'll need to take advantage of the jump range of a Fleet Carrier (500 Al), as it's not possible to get to this atypical location on your own (no standard vessel has sufficient jump range). The greatest difficulty for many owners often lies in the fact that vacancies are rare in HIP 58832!
If you don't own a Fleet Carrier, we invite you to consult a sister travel agency (Discord) offering cab systems all over the galaxy. Visit the Fleet Carrier Owner Club at: https://discord.gg/fcoc
Once you've arrived, there's little to discover apart from the unique panorama! You're 5,319 Al above the galactic plane, so you've got to admit it's impressive!
Once the step is completed, proceed to the next step
HD 76133 and its cemetery
After taking part in the Rackham's peak expedition, how about a one-way trip? Some systems are real traps for ships with the best jump ranges. In fact, there are two well-known ways of temporarily increasing a jump range:
The jumponium, as pilots call it, consists in drastically increasing a jump range by means of synthesis.
The neutron boost is another technique, albeit a rather technical and dangerous one, allowing you to take advantage of refueling around a neutron star to jump even further.
Combining these two techniques is spectacular! But imagine that you want to jump into an almost inaccessible system. It's possible in one direction, but not always in the other if there are no neutron stars to come back to.
This is exactly what's happening in the Ex Cancri region. It is possible, with a specially prepared vessel, to jump to this cluster using jumponium and Neutron stars. The last one, before the big jump, is nicknamed "Decision"!
If you want to give it a try, you have two choices:
With your ship
A one-way trip. The last system before the big jump will be Outotch SA-U d4-0 and you should have a jump range (with boosts) of about 70 Al.
Before jumping in, don't forget to check the tag on the spot, it's entry n°0706 talking about Distant Star Expedition in 3303
Once you're ready, go to the other side.
On board a Fleet Carrier
Of course, thanks to its 500 Al range, Fleet Carriers don't have the same constraints and can get out of the trap. As with the previous step, if you don't own a Fleet Carrier, visit the Fleet Carrier Owner Club at this address:
Quiz 2: Type in the local chat the name of the system where the Anaconda cemetery is located.
Once you've crossed the Rubicon
Before the sale of fleet carriers was authorized to pilots, it was not possible to leave this cluster of systems.
Thus, many pilots crashed, intentionally or not, in a mythical place now known as "Anaconda's Graveyard" in the HD 76133 system. Go to this system and then to Planet 1 C at coordinates 23.488 / 81.934 to find, in pensive silence, a vast field of wrecks!
Once the step is completed, proceed to the next step
Impossible planets! (optional)
To conclude this crazy adventure, here are a few astronomical peculiarities that should sharpen your interest... and your reflexes!
Please note that our agency will not be held responsible for any damage to or loss of your vessel!
Planet 1 (Via Gravitatis) Distance SOL => KOI 1 : 6 149.69 Al
A planet offering a gravity of 45G discovered in September 3307 (the previous one held a record with 11.6 G). .... Will you be able to land there? Maybe, but from there to take-off...
Quizz 3:
Go there, then type into the local chatroom the greatest gravity discovered to date (just the number, without the G).
Distance SOL => Spoihaae XE-X d2-9 : 21 817.33 Al.
A small planet very close to a white dwarf making landing extremely dangerous! Take your sunglasses!
Planet collisions
Legend has it that pilots have seen planets collide, merge and separate (Are they still of this world, no one knows). Is this thing Impossible? Your guess is as good as mine!
