Colonia Prison Break

What you need to know before embarking on this journey:

- A ship with a long jump range (minimum 70 light-years, 80 recommended) is strongly recommended. The trip is still feasible with a shorter range, but will take longer.

Here are three suggestions for ships with long jump ranges:

  - Diamondback Explorer

  - Mandalay

  - Anaconda

- Plan for the possibility of committing offenses and being pulverized four times. Sufficient credits must be available to cover the rebuy of your ship as well as the penalties associated with the infractions committed. (Never fly without a Rebuy!)

Examples of possible offenses : opening fire on the designated megaship or illegally obstructing a landing pad.

- (Optional, but highly recommended) How to use FSD supercharge with Neutron and White Dwarf stars. You can refer to these adventures if you're not familiar with how to do it:

    - A Pick-Me-Up

    - Another Pick-Me-Up

- Be sure to sell all your exploration and exobiology data before embarking on this journey, as you'll lose everything along the way.

The purpose of this adventure is to show you an option for getting to Colonia more quickly.

By committing a crime against a Megaship on the Colonia Bridge you are pulverized and immediately transported to a prison. For the purposes of our adventure, this prison serves as a shortcut to Colonia saving you thousands of light-years on your journey.

Sol

We suggest you start from the Sol system, but you can also start wherever you like through the human bubble, as Sol is restricted by an access permit.

Your first objective is to travel to the Smojue IY-Q b32-1 system more than 3,000 light-years from Sol.

Let's go CMDR !

CMDR SaucyGrave

The Colonia region is a group of independent human colonies located in the Colonia nebula, in the Inner Scutum-Centaurus Arm sector, around 22 000 light-years from the Sun.

Both the region and the nebula bear the name Colonia, a star system colonized by accident after Jaques Station, equipped with a hyperdrive, attempted an unprecedented jump from Gliese 1269 to Beagle Point on May 19, 3302. Instead of reaching its intended destination, the Jaques Station hyperdrive suffered a hyperspace malfunction caused by a Thargoid sensor that threw it off course.

After extensive search and rescue efforts, Jaques Station was restored and its new home, the Colonia system, became the center of a new frontier for human civilization.

1. Smojue IY-Q b32-1

   Objectives :

1. Go to system Smojue IY-Q b32-1

2. Commit a crime against the Megaship CB-9 Monolith that will get you incarcerated at the penitentiary Megaship closest to you

3. Pay for the rebuy of your ship and the penalty for your crime

Once at destination in the Smojue IY-Q b32-1 system, locate the Megaship CB-9 Monolith.

Get close and commit a crime that will result in the destruction of your ship. Firing on the Megaship will do the trick just fine.

Alternatively, you can simply land on a landing pad without asking permission. Security will take care of the rest...

Don't worry, it's all part of the plan!

CMDR The Veers.

Once done, a transfer will take place to the penitentiary megaship 'Rock of Isolation', in the Omega Sector OD-S b4-0 system, over 2200 light-years away in the direction of Colonia!

Pay the rebuy and the penalty and set off for the next target : Eagle Sector IR-W d1-117.

The Colonia Bridgeis a four-part infrastructure project that was organized and financed by the Brewer Corporation in cooperation with the Colonia Council.

Divided into a series of seven Community Goals (Community Goals) that took place between October 7, 3307 and March 10, 3308. This huge project considerably increased the number of Wells-class Transporters and fixed space stations along the Colonia Connection Highway (Colonia Connection Highway) route. Placed between the Colonia region and Central Systems, these facilitate travel between the two regions.

The Colonia Bridge contains 56 megaships and six stations. The Bridge officially begins at Alcor and ends at Colonia.

CB-9 Monolith megaship is the ninth megaship on your way to Colonia.

Once in the Eagle Sector IR-W d1-117 system, simply repeat the scenario from stage 1 by attacking the CB-20 Colonia Bridge megaship. This will result in incarceration in the Mjolnir's Wrath penitentiary megaship, located 1300 light-years closer to Colonia.

An economy of 1,341 light-years!

CMDR Adam Fauster

You are now at Nyeajaae VU-Y a27-9 and heading forward to the next Megaship, CB-33 Jewel of Pirigen, which will undergo your assault in the Skaudai CH-B d14-34. system.

A Detention Center, also known as a Judicial Facility, is a type of Flight Operations Transport Megaship where criminal pilots are detained. They are forced to either settle their accumulated fines and bounties, or accept bankruptcy before they can be released.

When Security Forces detect criminal fines or bounties on a ship and then destroy it, the ship's pilot is apprehended and transferred to the nearest Detention Center with jurisdiction.

Crimes committed in independent systems are handled by Detention Centers under the Independent Detention Foundation.

This step takes you nearly 3900 light-years ahead of your goal.

Keep goin !

The Neutron Highway is a network of mapped and optimized routes that contain a high percentage of neutron stars and white dwarfs along the way; systems that temporarily allow ships to supercharge their SDFs via neutron jet streams.

These highways are a way for ships to travel long distances between two fixed locations, using far fewer hops than the conventional method.

2. Commit a crime against the Megaship CB-50 The Green Star that will get you incarcerated in the nearest penitentiary Megaship

3. Pay for the rebuy of your ship and the penalty for your crime

Let's repeat this trick one last time, and it will bring you very close to your ultimate destination. Go to the Eoch Flyuae ZU-Y b17-16 system and attack the Megaship CB-50 The Green Star.

You pick up your ship in the Eol Prou LW-L c8-127 system aboard the Megaship prison Odin's Crag, 2907 light-years away.

CMDR Cuttner

The Spansh Neutron Router is a website that lets you plot a route between two different star systems.

The result will show you each time you need to go to the galaxy map to plot a new course (for example, when you're near a neutron star).

It will favor neutron stars, so it should be avoided for journeys of less than 500 light-years (it will probably try to direct you first to Jackson's Lighthouse if you're in the bubble).

A wonderful tool to have with you on long journeys!

Arrival is just around the corner. When you leave prison, it's just a short hop of 4 light-years to Colonia and land at Jaques Station.

Once the step is completed, proceed to the next step

Congratulations !

Congratulations, the journey is over. Was the time saved to reach Colonia worth it ?

Colonia Bridge Route - Sol to Colonia
Fast travel between Sol and Colonia can be achieved by travelling
to one of the Colonia Bridge stations and committing a crime
such as firing on a station or loitering on the pad. You will then
be sent to the nearest independent detention centre which will
take you closer to your destination. If you have a very fast ship,
you may find it quicker to take one of the short cuts. With a fast
ship travel time can be as quick as one hour.
