Operation Christmas Rescue

Beloved philanthropist Sandra Corrs, provides gifts to children across the core systems every year.

She made a similar request two years ago, before loaning her transport fleet to the government at the start of the Thargoid invasion, as evacuation operations increased.

This year, although the threat of xenomorphs seems to have been averted at last, the company is faced with a problem of an altogether different nature: the Thargoid invasion has displaced countless of our cherubs. And determining their current address is no child's play!

Pilots who wish to help Sandra's Workshop this Christmas, can pick up loads of festive gifts at the Frost Dock outpost, in the Njambalba system.

Please note, the location can only accommodate small and medium-sized vessels, and you should scan the beacon around Frost Dock for delivery information.

Santa's sleigh

There's not a second to lose!
Once docked at Frost Dock, fill your cargo hold with festive gifts.

You'll only need 6 tons, but if you can, take more.

Go outside the station to scan the listening station and collect your wish list;

Once that's done, you're ready to start your delivery;

Forward CMDR!

Kami Loons

Kami Loons, 9 ans

Dear Madame Sandra,

I would like a telescope to look through the window.

It's because my goldfish is gone. He was my ray of sunshine, but Mom says he's swimming in the ocean of New Turkey now and he's very happy.

I looked in the bowl, but saw nothing, so I need a telescope to look at New Turkey.

It's got to be a nice telescope because an ocean is awfully big.

Thank you!

There must be a clue as to which station to deliver the gifts to...

Here, the clue is New Turkey. It's a planet in the LHS 1387 system in which there's a station called Angel's Sunshine which refers to the 'ray of sunshine'which Kami talks about.

Once the step is completed, proceed to the next step

Mia Gilford

Mia Gilford, age 7

Hello, Sandra

Say, can you send me a joke book?

It's for my dad. Every time I say the name of where we live, he asks me "but where is high city?" And he starts laughing, even tho it's not even funny.

With new jokes, my dad will be a cool dad again. We live in an Ocellus, I learned that at school the other day. I hope this helps.

As before, we need to find the system and the destination station. A clue may be hidden in the text...

The clue here is the word 'High City'. Simply invert the term to find 'Low City' in the HR 1980 system.

Once the step is completed, proceed to the next step

Lu Huan

Lu Huan, age 10

Hello, Sandra,

If it's not too much to ask, I'd love a singing lesson program for our VR system.

You understand, my favorite ICE host organizes a cappella music events, and I'd love to sing well enough to participate!

Here, I've got a cool anecdote about my address: did you know there are 9 planets called Gold? Well, I live in orbit around one of them!

Thank you so much, it's going to be great.

As on previous occasions, you have to find the clue, but where is it this time?

Here, the clue is 'Gold'. We need to search for a system with a planet named Gold, in the message we find 'a cappella', which serves as a clue to identify the system among the results. We thus find the Darkesport station in the Capella system.

Once the step is completed, proceed to the next step

George Lewis

George Lewis, age 9

I have a question: is it possible to get a spaceport as a gift?

As you know, most spaceports have two-word names. But the problem is, ours has only one word, and when I ask my mom why, she says it's because I'm Sam's son. That doesn't make any sense. I'm my father's son, not some Sam I don't know.

It turns out the spaceport belongs to me, since it's named after me. But my mother won't admit it, because then she won't be able to tell me to go to bed or brush my teeth. Now, would you please tell me if that's possible? Thanks and happy holidays.

Another riddle hidden in the request... How to find the destination this time?

In this application, the Station's name is composed of a single word, 'Sam's son', or without spaces: 'Samson' in the Munfayl system.

Once the step is completed, proceed to the next step

Lee Johnston

Lee Johnston, age 9

Dear Sandra,

I really like the song that's played on board the ship when we land. I asked my brother what it was, and he told me it's called The Blue Danube and that the planet next to us is named after the gentleman who composed it.

Apparently, he must have been very famous, because this Blue Danuble, it's very, very old. Would you please send me some orchestral instruments so I can make music like the Blue Danube?

This one's a bit trickier, but you'll have to find a way to bring the gifts!

Here it's a bit harder, Johann Strauss II is the author of The Beautiful Blue Danube so you have to look for a system with a planet named Strauss but there's a catch, the station doesn't orbit this planet but the author of the message is called Lee Johnston, a clue to the station's name: Fort Lee in the system Fomalhaut.

Once the step is completed, proceed to the next step

Winnie Clark

Winnie Clark, age 7

HELLO SANDRA!

At school today, the teacher talked about a person from ancient times that our spaceport is named after.

He had super-long ears, and he was super logical (I think that means he was super smart). He could put people to sleep just by touching them. And he was so beloved that hundreds of years later, people still remember his name. That must mean he was a nice guy.

I wish I had the blue outfit he was wearing. That way, my teacher will think I'm being logical, too.

Thanks in advance, Sandra.

The last delivery!
Hang in there, it's the last riddle to solve to save Christmas!

Young Winnie describes in his message Mr Spock. Leonard Nimoy is the famous actor who played him in the Star Trek series. So just search for a station named after the actor to find the LHS 3006 system.

Once the step is completed, proceed to the next step
