Everyone comes into the world free and equal in rights, although some seem to enjoy more freedoms than others. In the Federation, the Empire and its sporadic wars are often mentioned.

Yet the Empire is not as united as it claims, especially with the aging reign of Empress Arissa Lavigny-Duval.

Opposing visions clash over the empire's future:

- Aisling Duval advocates reform of slavery policy.

- Zemina Torval wants to strengthen the economy through an aggressive slavery policy.

- Danton Patreus wants to extend imperial influence by force.

Which side are you on?

As you arrive in the system, you notice on your navigation panel that a Brookes Galactic Tours is nearby, not far from a neutron star. You say to yourself that perhaps you should take a look before you set off again, and after you've taken a few photos.

As you take a moment to contemplate and immortalize it, your speakers suddenly begin to crackle. Music blares out, saturating your speakers and cutting off your flight controls.

Immediately afterwards, a bold message appears on your dashboard screen:

THIS IS AN AUTOMATIC COMMUNICATION FORM FLI

WE ARE THE LIBERATION FRONT IMPERIAL.
WE FIGHT FOR A FAIR EMPIRE.

After just a few minutes, time to get to the nearest spaceport to prepare for what you've gotten yourself into, you receive a file.

Strange, the message doesn't seem to be pre-recorded...
